The Apple Tree is a family-run restaurant set beside the picturesque Gosfield Lake, known locally for its Sunday carvery, Indian buffet nights and lake views. Alongside great food, the setting itself, the lake and the activities around it, is a big part of the draw.
The Challenge
The Apple Tree needed a brand new website built from scratch, with a few clear jobs to do:
No online booking
Table bookings were being handled manually, which meant more admin and more room for things to slip through the cracks.
The setting wasn't being shown off
The lake and the surrounding activities are a real selling point, but there was nothing online to bring that to life for people deciding where to eat.
Menus needed a home
Breakfast, evening and Sunday carvery menus all needed to be easy to find and easy to read on the new site.

We wrote a handful of extra content pages aimed at improving the restaurant's rankings on Google, so more local diners can find them when searching.
